The Problem
Problem Discovery
The client is currently relying on a manual Excel system to manage their business, which is inefficient and time-consuming. As their operations expand, they need a more robust solution to streamline their management of clients, staff, inventory, events, vendors, and venues.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
“How might we create a user-friendly platform that enables the client to easily input and manage data related to clients, staff, inventory, events, vendors, and venues?“
Client Needs
Easy Management and Editing: The ability to manage and edit existing vendors, venues, clients, staff, menu items, events, and event quotes.
Version History: A comprehensive version history that provides a record of all previous clients, vendors, venues, events, quotes, menus, and staffing.
Client Wants
Dashboard with Upcoming Events: a dedicated dashboard that displays upcoming events in a clear and organized manner.
Reminders and Notification System: helps the client stay informed about important deadlines, tasks, and updates related to their events.
System Search Functionality: Allows the client to easily find any relevant information within the system.
